At Stifel Marcin, our team is like a family – and our support of each other extends beyond the walls of our office. We are fortunate to work on equipment and have processes that allow us to be highly-effective even when we are not together and not in our facility.
Before the state of Connecticut issued its work-from-home mandate, we had already determined we would temporarily shift to a remote operation to protect each other from exposure to the coronavirus. While we originally expected that to be a short period of time, that has obviously been extended.
Our shift to remote operations was fast and efficient, and resulted in no days closed or downtime. We are of proud the dedication our team has shown through this and that our high standard of quality has never been comprised.
While we miss each other’s company, we have proven we are effective when working remotely. We also realize that working together not only poses risks to each other, but risks to each team member’s family, friends and close associates.
Right now, the risks of being physically together does not make sense. The concern for potential exposure that working on-site presents is not something that we can justify.
