Interactive Presentation for Enhanced Tradeshow Experience

Ward Leonard is a leading provider of comprehensive motor, generator, pump, drive and control system solutions, including MRO services, to the oil and gas, military, energy, and industrial processing industries. As part of our integrated marketing efforts, Stifel Marcin was charged with developing new digital marketing tools to enhance sales and tradeshow presentations and provide project managers a way to easily generate customized reports from any location.

Designed for maximum marketing impact during tradeshows, an interactive digital presentation/e-book was created with an emphasis on product descriptions and their applications, while corresponding features and benefits were highlighted using strategic product imagery, schematics, performance data, charts and videos. Those interacting with the piece during shows could explore the presentation via touchscreen, allowing prospects to learn more about Ward Leonard and its products.

To optimize the robust content presentation, Stifel Marcin worked with the client to plan the piece’s organization, designing an information hierarchy and mapping content flow to ensure a superior user experience. With a sidebar navigation, clear linking structure, and an engaging combination of visuals and data points, users were able to easily access information both independently and when guided by a Ward Leonard team member.

The piece created an engaging experience on the trade show floor, and also could be leveraged for remote presentations and digital brand interactions, providing a multi-purpose asset for Ward Leonard. Throughout the piece, the brand positioning line created by Stifel Marcin, “The Power of Uptime™”, communicated the dependability and performance of the company’s products, which keep operations running in some of the world’s most remote locations.

Improved Customer Experience with Digital Reporting

Responding to the Ward Leonard project managers’ need for a customizable report no matter the location of the equipment, Stifel Marcin also created two interactive digital reports for the PMs to supply to customers after inspecting both generators and motors.

This tool has been an important driver of process improvement, as Ward Leonard staff now have a standardized digital report that is easy to generate, no matter if on the shop floor or on an oil rig. From capturing essential data like product serial numbers to the exact hour of a reading, the report also allows for simple photo uploads so customers can also visually understand details noted in the inspection report.
